Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data Jonparts collects when you visit or buy from jonparts.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have. For the purposes of the GDPR, Jonparts is the data controller. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@jonparts.com.

What we collect

  • Order data: your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number, the items you ordered and your order history.
  • Payment data: processed directly by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Contact data: anything you write to us by email or through our contact form.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and how you arrived at the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To fulfill your order — processing payment, shipping, tracking, returns and support. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
  • To comply with the law — accounting and tax records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • To prevent fraud and chargeback abuse — screening orders for risk. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the business.
  • Marketing emails — only if you subscribed. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
  • Advertising and analytics — measuring which ads work and showing you relevant ones. Legal basis: your consent through our cookie banner.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers we need in order to run the shop, and only with what they need:

  • Shopify, which hosts this store
  • our payment providers, to take payment
  • our shipping and fulfillment partners and the carriers, to deliver your parcel and provide tracking
  • our email platform, if you subscribed to marketing
  • analytics and advertising platforms, where you consented to those cookies

We never sell your personal data.

Transfers outside the EEA

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice data is kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires (generally ten years in Lithuania). Support correspondence is kept for up to three years. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Cookie and analytics data is kept for the period stated in our cookie banner.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email info@jonparts.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your own country. In Lithuania this is the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, vdai.lrv.lt).

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the shop to work, and — only with your consent — cookies for analytics and advertising. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings on this site.

Children

This store is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the current version.
