Porsche owners are the hardest people to buy for. They already ticked the options they wanted, the dealer sells the official merchandise at dealer prices, and anything for the car itself needs a part number you don't have. The gifts that land are the ones they'll touch every day: the key, the phone, the cabin.
Below are 13 ideas sorted by budget, from stocking fillers to a genuine splurge. Most are things we make, a couple are not, and every one comes with a note on what to check before you order, because the worst gift is the one that doesn't fit.
The one thing every Porsche owner carries every single day.
Quick picks
- Best overall: Alcantara key cover - $45
- The one they forgot to order: Painted key cover in factory colors - $45
- Under $25: Alcantara keychain - $22
- The splurge: Carbon fiber mirror caps for the 992 - $569
- Not sure what fits: Gift card
$30 and under - stocking fillers
1. Alcantara keychain
$22
The same suede used on performance steering wheels, in a keychain. Small enough for a stocking, nice enough that it doesn't feel like one.
Good to know: works with any key, so there's nothing to get wrong.

2. AirTag key cover
$22
For the person who has lost the key at least once. Clip an AirTag to the key ring and it shows up in Find My like their phone does.
Good to know: suede stops the AirTag rattling against the key, and tracking works as normal. Add an AirTag if they don't have one.

3. Alcantara key cover
$45
The gift we'd buy a Porsche owner first. The plastic key gets scratched in a pocket within months. This wraps it in Alcantara, the same soft suede used on GT steering wheels, while the buttons and the crest stay exactly where they were.
Pick the stitching to match their car: black, red, yellow or blue.
Good to know: it does not affect keyless entry. Check their key type first (see the tip above).

4. Painted key cover in factory colors
$45
Porsche offers a key painted in the body color as a factory option, and plenty of owners skip it when they order. This is the fix: a hard shell sprayed in factory colors, from Chalk and Agate Grey to Miami Blue, Shark Blue and Racing Yellow.
Match it to their car and it looks like it came that way.
Good to know: 18 colors and two key shapes. Check both before ordering.

5. Leather key cover
$45
For the owner with a cognac or Bordeaux interior. Hand-stitched leather that darkens and softens with use instead of wearing through.
Good to know: comes in black, brown and green.

6. Alcantara cover with cord
$34
A lighter, softer take with an Alcantara cord instead of a metal ring. The orange is a nice nod to Lava Orange and GT accents.
Good to know: also in dark grey, light grey and green.

7. Sunglasses holder for the visor
$37
Clips onto the sun visor so their sunglasses stop sliding around the center console. Small, useful and in Alcantara, so it matches the cabin rather than looking like an aftermarket add-on.

8. Alcantara iPhone case
$56
The phone and the key are the two things that live in the car with them. This case matches the key cover, has a raised edge around the camera and grips the hand instead of sliding off the dash.
Good to know: MagSafe still works through the suede.

9. Real carbon fiber key cover
$86
For the GT owner. A rigid shell in real carbon, the same look as the trim on their dashboard. Available in black, red and forged carbon.

10. Carbon fiber paddle shifters
$101
Carbon paddles that clip over the originals, so the shift sits closer to their fingers. One they will notice on every drive.
Good to know: this version is for the Macan, Cayenne and 718. There are separate versions for other models, so check the fitment photo against their car.

11. Carbon fiber mirror caps for the 992
$569
If they drive a current 911, this is the gift. Carbon mirror caps are a classic 911 upgrade, and they change the look of the car from every angle.
Good to know: these fit the 911 (992) from 2019 to 2024 only.

12. A day at a Porsche Experience Center
If the budget allows, nothing beats seat time. Porsche runs Experience Centers where owners drive on a closed track with an instructor. It's the gift they'll still talk about next Christmas.
Good to know: look up the Porsche Experience Center nearest to them for dates and prices.
13. A proper detailing kit
A good two-bucket wash kit with a pH-neutral shampoo, microfiber mitts and a drying towel. Most owners are still using a sponge from the gas station. Add a soft brush for Alcantara surfaces and the cabin is covered too.
Good to know: our Alcantara cleaning guide explains what to use on suede, and what never to use.

What do you buy a Porsche owner who has everything?
Something they use every day but would never upgrade themselves. The key is the obvious one: it's in their hand every time they drive, it gets scratched, and a replacement Porsche key is expensive. A cover in Alcantara or in their car's own paint color is a small luxury they'll notice daily.
Will a key cover fit any Porsche?
No. Porsche has used several key shapes, and the model year won't tell you which one they have. Match the outline of their key to the photos in our Porsche key cover guide, or send us a photo and we'll confirm it.
What if I pick the wrong one?
We exchange it free if the key type turns out wrong, and every order has 30-day returns.
Does a key cover affect keyless entry?
Alcantara and leather covers don't affect it, so keyless entry and range work as before. More detail in Do key fob covers block the signal?
