Materials in this collection

• Alcantara suede - the same family of material carmakers specify for performance steering wheels and seat centers. Soft, grippy, and non-conductive, so the key's range is unaffected.
• Carbon fiber - a light, rigid shell with a woven finish. Where a vented version is offered, take it: the vents keep the antenna area of the key open.
• Leather - hand-stitched, and it darkens and softens where you hold it rather than wearing through.

Fitting it

The cover slips over the key by hand - no tools, no glue, and nothing is cut. Lock, unlock and boot release stay usable, the emergency blade still comes out, and the whole thing comes back off if you sell the car.
