The Maserati Trident turns 100 in 2026, a century after the Tipo 26 carried it to a class win at the 1926 Targa Florio. That gives you a theme, but the best gifts for Maserati owners are smaller than a centenary: an Italian suede cover for the key they pick up every morning, a case for the phone that sits beside it, or, if the budget stretches, a day in Modena.

The 14 ideas below suit Ghibli, Levante, Quattroporte, Grecale, GranTurismo and MC20 drivers and climb from pocket-sized pieces to that Modena trip. Ten we make; the other four are a factory tour, a private car collection, a track course and an owners' club.

Quick picks

Check their key without asking

Our Maserati Alcantara covers are cut in two shapes, Type A and Type B, and the outline of the key body, not the car's model year, decides which one fits. Next time the key is left out on a table, photograph each side and compare it with the fitment photo on the Type A and Type B listings; our key fob cover fitment guide explains what to look at: the outline from the side, the button count and whether an emergency blade slides out. If the photos leave you unsure, send them through our contact page and we will name the type; a cover that arrives in the wrong type is exchanged at no cost.

Small gifts for Maserati owners and stocking fillers

Any of these three works without knowing the key.

Best small gift

1. Alcantara AirTag cover

If their Maserati gets valet-parked at hotels and restaurants, the key regularly spends an evening in a stranger's pocket or a key cabinet. Clip an AirTag to the ring and Apple's Find My app finds the key the same way it finds their phone, and the suede sleeve stops the tag knocking against the fob each time it changes hands.

Good to know: Apple sells the AirTag separately, and it needs an iPhone or iPad to set up and track; it won't work with an Android phone. The suede doesn't block Bluetooth or muffle the tag's speaker.

2. Alcantara keychain

A good answer for an owner whose key is not on our cover listings, such as an MC20, a GranTurismo or a classic Maserati with an older key. It goes on any keyring, the suede is kind to a phone screen in the same pocket, and a steel ring and clasp take the load.

Good to know: if you are also buying the key cover below, skip this; that cover can be ordered with an Alcantara Keychain included.

3. Alcantara AirPods case

The GranTurismo takes its name from grand touring: long drives, a bag in the trunk, a hotel at the far end. On those days the AirPods ride loose on the passenger seat, and a suede-wrapped case grips where bare plastic slides. The carabiner clips it to the weekend bag once they park.

Good to know: pick from Airpods Pro, Airpods Pro (2nd Generation), Airpods (4th/5th Generation) or Airpods (3rd Generation). Their iPhone's Bluetooth settings name the model while the earbuds are connected.

The sweet spot: Maserati key cover, phone and cabin

Begin with the key. Each of our Maserati key covers is cut for one key body, Type A or Type B, so the photo check matters.

Best overall

4. Maserati Alcantara key cover

If you only buy one thing, make it this. The key goes from pocket to restaurant table to valet stand and back, and its plastic shell scuffs a little more each time. Alcantara is an Italian suede, so the key to an Italian car gets the same soft grip as a performance steering wheel.

There are four colors, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Orange and Green, and either a Metal Keychain or an Alcantara Keychain. The edges are hand-stitched rather than glued, all buttons stay reachable, and the emergency blade still releases.

Good to know: the card below is the Type A cover; for the other outline, order the Type B Alcantara cover in the same four colors. Check your photo against both fitment pictures or send it to us; if the type is still off, we swap it free.

Our Maserati collection also lists Alcantara Style covers in Type A and Type B, which are suede-look microfiber rather than genuine Alcantara. If the real material is the point, pick a listing with "Alcantara - Type A" or "Alcantara - Type B" in the title. We don't make a carbon fiber or leather cover for Maserati keys.

Maserati cover Alcantara key cover Alcantara Style cover
Material Alcantara suede Suede-look microfiber
Colors Dark Grey, Light Grey, Orange, Green One version, no color choice
Keyring Metal Keychain or Alcantara Keychain Not offered as an option

5. Alcantara iPhone case

At dinner, the Maserati key and the phone often end up side by side on the table, so order the case in the same color as the key cover and the two match. Suede also grips a leather seat where a glossy case slides off in the first fast corner, and a lip around the camera and screen keeps both off the tablecloth when it lies face down.

Good to know: MagSafe works through the suede, so their charger and wallet attach as usual. The model list has no budget "e" iPhones, and from the 18 range only the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max, so find their exact model under Settings, General, About before ordering. Suede care is in our Alcantara cleaning guide.

6. Alcantara MagSafe cardholder

For an evening drive in the GranTurismo or MC20, when they want the key, the phone and a card and nothing bulging in a jacket. It carries two or three cards on the phone's back, a push-out slot frees the bottom one, and the magnets keep it from creeping out of a pocket.

Good to know: it holds by magnet, so their phone must be a MagSafe iPhone; MagSafe works through the Alcantara case above, so the two can be used together. It is made in Dark Grey alone.

7. Alcantara Apple Watch band

For the owner who bought a Maserati partly for the engine note. The V6 in the Grecale Trofeo is even called Nettuno, Italian for Neptune, the god whose trident became the badge. A metal bracelet ticking against the steering wheel spoils that soundtrack; suede is silent on the rim, breathes on a long drive, and clicks into Apple's standard lugs.

Good to know: the band comes as Apple Watch - 42/44/45/46mm & Ultra (49mm) or Apple Watch - 38/40/41/42mm. Their size shows in the Watch app on the iPhone (General, then About).

8. Sun-visor glasses holder

Driving a GranCabrio with the roof down means sunglasses come off for every tunnel and go back on at the exit. This clips to the sun visor, right where the hand reaches, and its suede lining keeps lenses off hard plastic. It takes most frames, wide sports and aviator shapes included.

Good to know: five shades on offer, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Red, Orange and Green. Match the headliner or the key cover.

Bigger upgrades for the Maserati GranTurismo

Our Maserati carbon parts range has one listing, for the GranTurismo and its convertible. For a Ghibli, Levante or Grecale, make the bigger gift a matching set instead: the key cover and the iPhone case in the same color.

9. Carbon fiber paddle shifters

For the GranTurismo coupe or convertible owner who shifts with the paddles instead of leaving it in automatic. These extensions clip over the stock plastic paddles and add roughly 40-60 mm of reach to each, so a downshift is under the fingers at nine and three. They fix with 3M adhesive and a locating lip, with no cutting or drilling, and gentle warmth releases the adhesive later, leaving the original paddles unmarked.

Good to know: Carbon Black is real carbon fiber; the Ruby Red version is glass fiber, as its name says. Paddle shapes changed within generations, so compare the fitment photo with their car, or send us a photo and we will confirm before it ships.

Maserati factory tour, museum, track course and club: not from us

None of these four are ours; confirm prices, dates and opening times on the official sites.

10. A showroom or factory tour in Modena

Maserati's headquarters and historic plant are on Viale Ciro Menotti in Modena, where the MC20 has been built. The Motor Valley site lists a shorter showroom visit and a longer guided tour inside the plant; details and booking are on the Maserati factory tour page. Add a day in nearby Bologna, where the Fountain of Neptune stands; Mario Maserati turned its trident into the badge.

Good to know: tours are by reservation only, pause at certain times of year and can change route with the plant's needs. The tour page gives the meeting point, Via Divisione Acqui 17a, a calendar of which tour runs when, and separate admission terms for Maserati customers; check it before you write it in a card.

11. The Maserati collection of Umberto Panini

Also in Modena, the Collezione Maserati Umberto Panini grew from 14 cars that Umberto Panini saved from Maserati's official museum in 1996 and now covers more than a century of the brand. Highlights include a 250F, the model in which Juan Manuel Fangio won Maserati's only Formula 1 World Championship, a Birdcage Tipo 61 and the 3500 GT. The official collection site describes new, renovated exhibition spaces from mid-2025.

Good to know: guided visits are booked through Modenatur, the same Modena operator that takes factory tour bookings, so one contact can help plan both days.

12. A Master Maserati track course

Maserati runs its driving courses under the Master Maserati name, and Motor Valley's Maserati page places them at the Varano circuit, southwest of Parma, and the Modena circuit, in the brand's high-performance cars.

Good to know: courses change from season to season. Check the official Maserati site for the current calendar and whether a course can be bought as a gift.

13. A year in a Maserati owners' club

In the UK, the Maserati Club UK was founded by owners in London in 1972 and describes itself as the only UK club officially recognized by Maserati. Members get the club magazine, events, a forum, a members' market and partner offers on servicing and insurance. Elsewhere, look for the club Maserati recognizes in their country.

Good to know: membership is in the owner's name, so you will need their details. Check the membership page for a gift option.

14. JONPARTS gift card

Email delivery means no parcel and no key check, and they pick the accessory, color and key type themselves.

Good to know: there are three fixed amounts, and any unspent balance stays available for a later order, on key covers, phone cases or any of our accessories.

For another Italian car, see our gifts for Alfa Romeo owners and Lamborghini gift ideas, or the gift guide for car guys that covers every make. Maserati is named here only to describe fitment; JONPARTS has no link with Maserati or Stellantis (trademark disclaimer).

Common questions

What do you get someone who owns a Maserati?

Start with the key: an Alcantara cover, Type A or Type B depending on its outline, goes everywhere the car does. For a bigger gesture, a factory tour in Modena or a visit to the Panini collection suits anyone who cares about the Trident. If the key never leaves their pocket, a gift card hands the choice to them.

Is there a key fob cover for the Maserati Levante or Ghibli?

Yes. Both Alcantara covers in our Maserati key fob cover range, Type A and Type B, name the Ghibli, Levante, Quattroporte and Grecale. Those cars have used more than one key body over the years, so the outline and button layout of their key decide the type. Hold a photo of the key up to the fitment pictures, or email it to us and we will confirm.

Is there a key cover for the Maserati MC20 or GranTurismo?

Neither car appears on our cover listings, so neither type should be assumed to fit. A photo of the key sent via our contact page gets you a clear yes or no; until then, the keychain, AirTag cover and gift card are safe choices.

Can you tour the Maserati factory in Modena?

Yes. Motor Valley lists a guided tour of the historic Modena plant and a shorter showroom visit, both by reservation only through the official booking page.

Will a key cover stop keyless entry working on a Maserati?

No. Suede doesn't conduct, so the car still locks, unlocks and opens the trunk from the usual distance. Metal and zinc-alloy cases are what can cut range, and our guide to whether key fob covers block the signal explains why.
