Shopping for gifts for Toyota owners means buying for one of two very different drivers. Some chose a GR86 or GR Corolla for the drive itself; many more chose a RAV4, Corolla or Camry because it starts every morning and asks for nothing. Both are hard to buy for, because the car already does its job.

Below are 14 Toyota gift ideas, from small gifts to experiences, and four of them come from other people entirely. Under each is the single thing to confirm before you order, so the gift fits their key, phone or cabin.

Quick picks

Check their key without asking

Toyota keys change with equipment as well as model: a powered tailgate or remote start adds a button, so two RAV4s of the same year can need different covers. When their key is left out, photograph both sides and count every button, including any panic button, then hold the photo against each listing's fitment picture or our Toyota and Lexus key guide. If doubt remains, send us the photo to have the type confirmed, and we swap a wrong type free.

Small gifts and stocking fillers

Best small gift

1. Alcantara keychain

If you can't work out which cover matches their key, or their Toyota still has the older flip key with the blade that folds out, a keychain sidesteps the question. It goes on any key and gives them a soft suede tab to grab when the key is buried at the bottom of a coat pocket.

Good to know: a flip key takes it as easily as a smart key, so nothing needs matching. A cover can follow once you know which Toyota type they carry.

2. Alcantara AirTag cover

A Land Cruiser is bought to go a long way from the nearest Toyota dealer, which is the worst place to lose a smart key. Clip an AirTag beside it and Find My can locate the key; the suede muffles the tag so it doesn't rattle against the fob on a washboard track.

Good to know: no AirTag comes with it, so buy one too if they don't have one. Suede doesn't block Bluetooth or the speaker, so the key can still be made to chirp.

The sweet spot: Toyota key covers and suede accessories

The things they will touch every day, starting with the key.

Best overall

3. Toyota Alcantara key cover

Toyota's glossy plastic fobs haze and scuff in a pocket full of coins and a phone, and replacing a Toyota smart key is not cheap. Our Toyota key covers wrap the fob in hand-stitched Alcantara, the Italian suede that trims the seats and wheels of many performance cars. Every button, the trunk or tailgate release included, stays usable, and the mechanical blade still comes out.

There are four colors. Black (Red Stitching) suits the dark cabin of a GR86 or GR Corolla, Light Grey (Orange Stitching) sits well in a lighter RAV4 or Camry interior, and Orange or Red make the key easy to spot in a bowl of other keys.

Good to know: there are over 20 Toyota listings, Type A to Type Y, each cut for one key body, so the fitment photo matters more than the model name. If you can't decide, send us a photo, and an exchange for the right type is free.

4. Alcantara iPhone case

Apple lists CarPlay for the RAV4 and Camry from the 2019 model year and the Corolla from 2020, so in most recent ones the phone runs the map from the console for the whole commute. A suede case stays put there instead of skating into the footwell under braking, and it matches the key cover. MagSafe reads through it, so MagSafe chargers and wallets snap on as normal.

Good to know: the iPhone 14 is the oldest model covered and the 18 Pro Max the newest, with the 17 Air and the Ultra also listed; Settings, General, About shows which they have. Colors are Dark Grey, Light Grey, Orange and Green.

5. MagSafe cardholder

For the GR86 or GR Corolla owner heading to an autocross or a track day, a wallet is one more thing to lose in the paddock. This Alcantara cardholder clips magnetically to the back of their iPhone and carries two or three cards, enough for a license, a bank card and an event pass, and a push-out slot lets them get at the bottom card.

Good to know: the phone has to be MagSafe-compatible, or wear a MagSafe case such as our Alcantara one. The only color is Dark Grey.

6. Alcantara AirPods case

A Corolla or Camry commuter takes the AirPods out for the walk from the parking lot and drops them in the cupholder for the drive home. The bare charging case slides around in there; suede stays put on a console or dashboard, and the lid, the charging port and the pairing button all still work. A carabiner is included.

Good to know: pick the right version: AirPods Pro, AirPods Pro (2nd Generation), AirPods (3rd Generation) or AirPods (4th/5th Generation). If you can't tell, the AirPods settings on their iPhone show the model name.

7. Alcantara Apple Watch band

Both the GR86 and GR Corolla are offered with a six-speed manual, the kind of car where neither hand rests for long: one works the wheel, the other the lever. A suede band stays quiet where a metal bracelet would click against either, avoids the sweaty feel of silicone, and fits Apple's original lugs with no adapter.

Good to know: sizes are 38/40/41/42mm and 42/44/45/46mm plus Ultra (49mm). A 42mm watch can go either way: Series 10 and later need the smaller band, Series 1 to 3 the larger.

Carbon fiber for the cabin

Both of these depend on the exact car, so compare the fitment photo with theirs before you order.

For 86 drivers

8. Carbon fiber start/stop button

On an 86 or Corolla with a few years of daily starts behind it, the button gives the car's age away: the lettering scuffs and the ring polishes smooth under a thumb. This cap of real carbon fiber, clear-coated rather than printed film, presses over the original, and the button still presses and glows exactly as it did.

Good to know: its title lists the 86, Corolla and Vios, with Carbon Black or Ruby Red finishes. Button diameter and surround vary by model, so check the fitment photo against their button, or photograph it for us.

9. Carbon fiber paddle extensions

If their Camry, Corolla or RAV4 has shift paddles behind the wheel, these clip over the stock plastic ones and add 40 to 60 mm of reach. A downshift before an overtake no longer means reaching around the wheel. 3M tape and a locating lip hold them on, and gentle heat on the tape releases them without marking the originals.

Good to know: they only suit cars that already have paddles, and paddle shapes changed mid-generation, so the fitment photo decides it. Ruby Red is glass fiber, while the other two finishes are real carbon. Older Camry, Corolla and Mark X paddles have their own listing in the Toyota carbon parts collection.

Experiences and things we don't make

None of these four come from us: two trips, a model for the desk and a manga series.

10. The LEGO Speed Champions Toyota GR Supra

LEGO has made a Toyota GR Supra (76901) in its Speed Champions line: a 299-piece model with a driver minifigure, small enough for a desk. It suits the GR Supra owner, and just as well the GR86 owner who still wants a Supra one day.

Good to know: LEGO lists this set as retired, so you will be looking at secondhand listings. Check that it is complete and includes the minifigure before you buy.

11. A day at Toyota's museums in Aichi

Two of Toyota's museums sit in Aichi Prefecture near Nagoya, and either is worth a day of a Japan trip. The Toyota Automobile Museum in Nagakute tells the story of the car with vehicles from makers around the world, not only Toyota, and has a library and a museum shop. The Toyota Kaikan Museum in Toyota City shows how Toyota plans, develops and builds its cars, and opened a new exhibition, TOYOTA's Creative Carmaking, in June 2026.

Good to know: check each museum's official site for opening days and visiting rules before you plan the day.

12. The Land Cruiser Heritage Museum

For a Land Cruiser owner in the US, this museum in Salt Lake City, Utah is built around the one model they care about, with Land Cruisers from the early Toyota Jeep BJ through the 200 Series. It fits neatly into a road trip west, in the Cruiser, naturally.

Good to know: check visiting details on the museum's official site, which also runs an online store if the trip has to wait.

13. Initial D, by Shuichi Shigeno

The 86 in GR86 points back to the AE86, and the best-known AE86 in fiction is the Sprinter Trueno that Takumi Fujiwara drives in Initial D, Shuichi Shigeno's manga about street racing on Japan's mountain passes. It is the gift that explains the name, for a GR86 owner or anyone who still wants an AE86.

Good to know: Kodansha USA publishes the current English edition as omnibus volumes with a new translation, so start with volume 1.

14. JONPARTS gift card

With more than 20 Toyota types, and a photo that can't always settle it, the safest gift is the choice itself. The code comes by email, so it still works on the evening before, and they pick the cover type, the color and any accessories.

Good to know: pass the email on as it is or copy the code into a greeting card; whatever they don't spend carries over to their next order.

Common questions

What are good gifts for Toyota owners?

Start with the key: they hold it on every drive, and on a dependable Toyota its gloss finish tends to show wear before anything else. An 86 or Corolla driver might prefer the carbon start/stop button, a Supra fan the LEGO GR Supra, and a track-day regular the MagSafe cardholder.

Will a Toyota key cover fit any Toyota key?

No. Toyota has used several key bodies, from the older flip key to rounded smart keys with two to five buttons and the newer flat rectangular key, and a cover has to match both the outline and the button count. Compare their key with our Toyota and Lexus key fob guide and each listing's photo, or send us one.

Is there a key fob cover for the GR Corolla or GR86?

None of our Toyota listings names the GR86, GR Corolla or GR Supra, and the key, not the badge, decides the fit. Photograph their key, count the buttons and check it against each listing's fitment photo, or let us look at the picture and say if any type matches.

Will a cover stop their Toyota's keyless entry working?

No. Alcantara is a non-conductive suede, so the smart key still talks to the car and every button responds as before; it is metal or zinc-alloy shells that can cut range. We cover the reasons in Do key fob covers block the signal?

Which key fob cover fits a RAV4, Corolla or Camry?

Our Toyota listings name the RAV4, Corolla, Camry, C-HR, Yaris and Land Cruiser, but Toyota has fitted them with several key bodies over the years, and equipment changes the button count. Line their key up against the fitment photos, and if none is a clear match, use our contact page to send a picture and we'll pick the type for you.

What if I order the wrong Toyota key cover?

Toyota keys can differ by a single button, so a mix-up is easy, and we exchange a wrong type free. Every order also has 30-day returns, free worldwide shipping and duties paid.
